Daily Bible Commentary
A mere reading of the Bible fails to fulfill its ultimate purpose. The Bible’s message is meant to transform. The Daily Bible Commentary series distills the best of current scholarship into the straightforward language of a devotional. It skillfully opens each New Testament book and helps readers respond to the eternal truths within. General editors Richard A. Burridge, Dom Henry Wansbrough, and David Winter, together with other renowned scholars from an array of Christian traditions, provide helpful introduction, accessible explanation, and fresh meditations on individual passages. Balancing profound reflection with penetrating insight, the two-page daily readings engage the mind while never failing to touch the heart.
AGES Library is pleased to offer the Daily Bible Commentary in conjunction with Hendrickson Publishers. The text is organized into two-page daily readings which provide commentary and insight on every passage. The readings reflect the best current scholarship available on the Bible in straightforward, modern language.
The Daily Bible Commentary also includes the Modern Language Bible. Scriptural references in the Daily Bible Commentary are linked to the Modern Language Bible, and just like all AGES Digital Libraries you can make notes, highlight text, and search all volumes in mere seconds. The Daily Bible Commentary is a powerful, indispensable tool for today's Bible student. The suggested retail for this series is $159, but you can download it for Windows PCs today for just $49.95!
